About the Event

Tom Heuser, CHHS President, will be a guest speaker at a meeting and luncheon for the Rainier Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution. To mark the coming of Halloween, he will be presenting a series of some of the more harrowing tales he's come across over the years involving death, betrayal, deception, and recalcitrance in addition to accounts of his own strange experiences in the pursuit of history and preservation. The presentation will start at 1pm after the lunch.

UPDATE: If you have not already reached out to us by email specifically requesting to attend the luncheon prior to the presentation, the option to do so was closed as of 3pm Friday, Oct 4th.

Apologies if there was any misunderstanding that an RSVP alone included a lunch seat.

All that said, You are of course still more than welcome to join for the the presentation starting at 1pm AFTER the lunch.

Thank you!
